Chicken with Buttered Noodles

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g chicken breasts, cut into pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 250 g pasta noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the Chicken:

  • Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little oil.
  • Cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

2. Cook the Noodles:

  • While the chicken is cooking, cook the noodles in salted water according to package directions until al dente.
  • Drain the noodles and set aside.

3. Prepare the Butter Sauce:

  • In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley and cook for another minute.

4. Combine the Ingredients:

  • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the butter and garlic mixture. Toss to coat the noodles evenly.
  • Place the cooked chicken pieces on top of the noodles.

5. Serve:

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken and noodles.
  • Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
