Directions:
Peel and slice onions into 1/2-inch rings, separating the layers.
Place a mozzarella stick between two onion rings, ensuring the cheese is snugly fit.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
Dredge the stuffed onion rings in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
